PUP, short for Pathetic Use of Potential, is a Canadian punk rock band formed in Toronto in 2010, initially under the name Topanga. Their songs hit fast and clean, mixing buzzing guitars, tight rhythms and gang vocals with hooks that linger. The lyrics tap into anxiety, friendship and self-sabotage with a dry sense of humor, turning rough edges into shout-along lines without losing the bite. On stage, they keep it lean and direct: sweat over polish, momentum over ornament, and a crowd that quickly becomes part of the noise.

They bring that energy to Foundry in Sheffield on 5 July 2026.
