Info
The Pretty Reckless bring their shadowed, riff-led rock to University of Wolverhampton at The Halls in Wolverhampton on 27 November 2026. Formed in New York in the late 2000s around singer-guitarist Taylor Momsen, the quartet has built a sound that draws on hard rock, post-grunge and classic rock with a dark tint. Alongside Momsen, the core line-up unites Ben Phillips on guitar, Mark Damon on bass and Jamie Perkins on drums, a stable backbone that shapes the band’s chemistry on stage.
From the punch of Light Me Up to the bluesier turns of Going to Hell and Who You Selling For, their set balances heavy riffs and direct melodies with lyrics that circle around disenchantment, faith and desire. Death by Rock and Roll pushed a more introspective thread, touching on loss and survival, and those textures now sit naturally next to early staples. Live, the band leans into dynamics: muscular grooves, chiseled guitar lines, and Momsen’s grainy voice at the center, switching from low simmer to full-throated release without losing focus. Expect a journey across their catalogue, from first hits to tracks off the latest album, delivered by a tight four-piece that plays it straight and lets the songs do the talking.
