Info
Holy Holy brings together Woody Woodmansey, Tony Visconti and Glenn Gregory on stage for a concert at O2 City Hall Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, on 17 September 2026. Under the banner of the Holy Holy project, Woodmansey and Visconti, longtime collaborators of David Bowie, reweave live a repertoire they know from the inside, alongside Gregory (Heaven 17) on vocals. The approach stays true to the songs’ DNA while leaving room for the energy of the stage: taut, nervous drumming, precise bass lines and arrangements, and a clear, expressive voice that inhabits the role without pastiche. The band relies on a solid rhythm section and guitars that play the tension between glam rock, pop flashes and raw groove, carefully shaping dynamics and breath. The set moves through sharp riffs, memorable choruses and darker numbers, always with that way of making the songs sound like living pieces rather than relics. An evening conceived to hear this repertoire at stage level, as it takes shape among musicians who share a common history and a keen attention to detail.
