Jack Savoretti

Anglo-Italian singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti brings his guitar-led folk-pop to SEC Armadillo, Glasgow, on 31 October 2026. Raised between London and Lugano, he writes where British folk, acoustic pop and Italian canzone meet. Early records Between the Minds and Harder Than Easy set a stripped-back tone around a grainy voice and narrative lyrics; Before the Storm and Written in Scars opened up to more rhythmic, expansive arrangements. With Sleep No More and the Rome-recorded Singing to Strangers, his palette widened toward soul shades and a cinematic feel, then tilted to Mediterranean colours on Europiana (2021). Miss Italia (2024) circles back to his roots, with several tracks in Italian.

On stage, Savoretti shifts from hushed ballads to tighter, groove-led pieces, keeping the guitar at the centre and letting keys and percussion add warmth. Solo moments sit next to arrangements shaped for a compact touring band, always anchored by storytelling and the texture of his voice. In Glasgow, he draws across his catalogue, from early confessional cuts to recent Mediterranean-tinged songs.
