Lido Festival - Maribou State

Maribou State bring their live show to LIDO Festival at Victoria Park, London, on 31 August 2026. The UK duo of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory, formed in 2011 in Hertfordshire, craft an electronic sound that leans between downtempo, slow house and soul, with organic textures and a strong role for guest voices. Early releases like the Habitat EP on FatCat set the tone, followed by a run of singles and remixes for Fatboy Slim, Lana Del Rey, Ultraísta or Kelis. Their first album, Portraits (Counter Records, 2015), pushed a more melodic and atmospheric approach, with recurring collaborator Holly Walker and the North Downs project. They continued with Kingdoms in Colour (2018), featuring Holly Walker again and Khruangbin on the track Feel Good, and returned in 2025 with a third LP, Hallucinating Love.

On stage, Maribou State stretch their studio DNA into a warm, groove-led set, balancing supple rhythms, live instrumentation and vocal-led cuts. Expect a flow through staples like Midas, Turnmills, Steal or Feel Good, woven with newer material from Hallucinating Love and extended versions built for an outdoor crowd. A focused, tactile take on electronic music that shifts from heady atmospheres to steady, rolling beats—tailor-made for a summer festival in the park.
