Info

Pinkshift and Heart Attack Man team up for a co-headline at The Flapper, Birmingham, on 9 July 2026. Two bands shaped by the punk and alternative scenes on both sides of the Atlantic, sharing the stage and splitting the night.

Pinkshift, the Baltimore trio of Ashrita Kumar, Paul Vallejo and Myron Houngbedji, blends pop punk, emo and a hint of grunge into tight, melodic bursts. From early singles and the EP Saccharine to the debut album Love Me Forever, the momentum carried through Suraksha, love me for the summer (with caco) in 2024 and the second album Earthkeeper in 2025. Live, they lean on sharp guitars, direct choruses and dynamic shifts, pulling widely from their catalogue.

Heart Attack Man, formed in Cleveland around Eric Egan, moves between punk rock, pop punk and emo with straight-ahead riffs and lyrics that tilt toward dry sarcasm. After DIY beginnings, the band lined up The Manson Family (2017), Fake Blood (2019), the EP Thoughtz & Prayerz (2021), Freak of Nature (2023) and 2025’s Joyride The Pale Horse, building songs made for loud rooms and quick hooks. Co-headline means full sets from both, back-to-back.
