Info
Freya Ridings brings her Mother of Pearl Tour to Ulster Hall in Belfast on 6 September 2026. The London-born singer and songwriter built her name at the piano and guitar, blending pop, folk and a touch of soul with a taste for stripped-back ballads. First noticed in 2017 with Blackout and the breakout Lost Without You, she followed with live releases from St Pancras Old Church and Omeara, and the You Mean the World to Me EP.
Her self-titled debut album arrived in 2019 with You Mean the World to Me and Castles, followed by UK tours, support slots for Tears for Fears, Tash Sultana and Lewis Capaldi, and a set at Glastonbury. In 2023 she widened the palette on Blood Orange while keeping her intimate writing front and centre, and co-wrote Rise for the film Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.
On stage she leans into a low, resonant voice, piano-led builds and melodic hooks rooted in folk storytelling. This date threads early singles through to Blood Orange-era material, for a concert that keeps the focus on songs, arrangements and the songwriter at the piano.
