Info

LØLØ brings her diaristic alt-pop to O2 Academy Birmingham on 13 May 2026. Based between Toronto and Los Angeles, the Canadian singer and songwriter threads catchy pop melodies through 2000s rock guitars and a pop-punk bite, writing with a mix of vulnerability and dry humor about tangled relationships and self-doubt. From early single Yours and the indie Sweater Collection EP to Overkill and Debbie Downer on Hopeless Records, her path charts a move from lo-fi beginnings to tighter, riff-driven songs. Her 2024 debut album, Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One, deepens that blend of punchy hooks and confessional detail, with live sets that shift easily between grit and melody.

Opening, Ella Red brings a darker shade of alt-pop. She writes like a singer-songwriter and arranges like a pop artist, setting supple vocals against tense melodies and direct refrains. Her songs orbit identity, the body, belief and power dynamics, balancing acidic asides with a measured sense of theatre. Tracks such as Ball and Chain, We’re All Going to Die, Predator and Funeral sit alongside quieter cuts like Cupid and Always the Artist. On stage, the focus stays on voice and words, building a close link with anyone tuned into stories of self-perception and small acts of emancipation.
