Chasing Abbey

Chasing Abbey land at O2 Academy Birmingham on 12 November 2026. The Irish trio from Tullamore forge a direct blend of pop, hip‑hop and club‑ready electronics, built on melodic vocals, rap verses and tight, percussive production. They broke through in the late 2010s with self‑released tracks and steady radio play, with That Good Thing in 2017 setting their tone: hooks designed for crowd singalongs and stories drawn from everyday life, friendships and relationships.

Their first structured step, The Odyssey Project EP (2018), paved the way for a run of singles. Since the early 2020s, the group fold elements of Irish traditional melody into contemporary beats, as heard on Oh My Johnny (Banks of the Roses), pushing their sound to the edge where urban pop meets melodic rap and a subtle folk echo. On stage, they line up fleet vocal interplay with punchy rhythms and choruses that stick, moving between early breakout moments and newer material. A compact, high‑energy set that maps the journey of a band shaping its own hybrid language between the club and the street.
