On 4 July 2026 at Crystal Palace Park in London, Alanis Morissette takes the stage with a set that traces her shift from early 90s dance-pop beginnings to the raw, introspective alt-rock that defined Jagged Little Pill. Ottawa-born and Los Angeles-shaped, she built a catalogue where electric guitars, confessional writing and a voice that moves from whisper to bite carry the songs. From Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie and Under Rug Swept to the later Flavors of Entanglement, Havoc and Bright Lights and Such Pretty Forks in the Road, she keeps circling themes of relationships, motherhood and spirituality. Live, she balances full-band drive with quieter passages that put the lyrics front and center.
Sharing the bill, Skunk Anansie bring a London-forged sound that cuts across alternative rock, hard rock and punk, with flashes of funk and dub. Formed in 1994 around Skin, Ace, Cass and Mark Richardson, the band has long paired sharp riffs and tight grooves with words that tackle power, identity and belief. Paranoid & Sunburnt, Stoosh and Post Orgasmic Chill set the tone; a 2009 reunion led to Wonderlustre, Black Traffic and Anarchytecture, and a focus on the stage.
