Somerset House Summer Series: Thee Sacred Souls

Thee Sacred Souls bring their finely crafted, retro-leaning soul to Somerset House in London on 18 July 2026. Formed in San Diego, the trio centers on singer Josh Lane, whose tender phrasing rides the grounded pulse of bassist Sal Samano and drummer Alex Garcia. Their repertoire tisse slow-burning ballads, mid-tempo R&B and sweet soul with shades of chicano soul, sculpted in a pared-back, analog spirit. Signed to Daptone’s Penrose imprint, they first gained attention with 45s like Can I Call You Rose? and Weak for Your Love, before delivering a self-titled debut in 2022.
