Info
The Veils play Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on 3 December 2026, touring Fragile World, their new album out June 19 on V2. Led by singer and songwriter Finn Andrews, the band cut these songs live to tape in New Zealand, captured by engineer Paddy Hill and shaped with producer Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, The Chills, Folk Bitch Trio). Working fast and instinctively, mostly as a tight core of Andrews and Healy with drummer Joseph McCallum stepping in, they leaned into rough edges and close-up dynamics that suit the stage.
Two decades in, The Veils have built a catalogue that moves between stark ballads and tense, noise-tinged eruptions: The Runaway Found, Nux Vomica, Sun Gangs, Time Stays, We Go, Total Depravity, …And Out of the Void Came Love, Asphodels, and now Fragile World. Their path has crossed cinema and TV — from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks to work with Tim Burton and Paolo Sorrentino — and a collaboration with El-P on Total Depravity. This show brings that history into the present, with new material alongside catalogue staples, carried by Andrews’ voice and the band’s lean, unvarnished sound.
