Info
Israel Nash brings his folk-rock, somewhere between American rock, indie and a psych tint, to The Garage, London, on 29 May 2026. Born in Missouri and first shaped by New York’s Lower East Side clubs, he built a writing style where guitars stretch out, pedal steel lines weave through the mix and group harmonies carry the choruses without showboating. The move to Dripping Springs, Texas anchored that approach in a more collective, rural setting, and his live sound leans into that balance of space and pulse.
On stage, Nash draws across his catalogue: the early New York Town and Barn Doors and Concrete Floors, the Texas-era Rain Plans and Silver Season, then Lifted, Topaz and Ozarker (2023). The songs travel from intimate folk contours to a brighter, atmospheric rock, with steady rhythms keeping the ground while the melodies open up. Themes of Midwest roots, open roads and everyday scenes thread the set, delivered by a band that favors texture and interplay over flash.
This date at The Garage maps the links between the Texas scene, modern Americana and independent rock, with songs that trade in craft, warmth and a shared, unhurried groove.
