Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox brings The Future Is Vintage Tour 2026 to Cambridge Corn Exchange in Cambridge on 24 May 2026. Founded by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, the collective reimagines contemporary hits in styles from the first half of the 20th century: swing, ragtime, doo-wop, soul and big band. On stage, a rotating cast of guest vocalists and instrumentalists shares the spotlight, turning pop, hip-hop or R&B refrains into croons, torch songs and brassy stompers. Tight charts, stride piano, upright bass and crisp horns anchor the show, while harmonies and breaks highlight familiar melodies. The set unfolds like a time-hopping revue, pairing vintage sound and modern hooks with a touch of theatre and humor. PMJ’s live format leaves room for solos and surprises, each singer bringing a distinct color to Bradlee’s arrangements and keeping these retro makeovers fresh.
