Info

Clutch land at the Telegraph Building in Belfast on 27 May 2026. Formed in the early 90s in Germantown, Maryland, the quartet of Neil Fallon, Tim Sult, Dan Maines and Jean-Paul Gaster has built a raw, riff-forward sound that threads hard rock, stoner heat, blues grit and alternative metal. Thick guitars lock into an unhurried, muscular groove, while Fallon’s narrative vocals pull from blues folklore, science fiction and pop culture.

From Transnational Speedway League (1993) through the self-titled Clutch (1995) and The Elephant Riders (1998), the band carved out a heavier, psych-leaning identity before deepening the swing with Blast Tyrant (2004) and Robot Hive/Exodus (2005). Launching their own label, Weathermaker Music, let them steer steady releases and constant touring on both sides of the Atlantic. More recent records Earth Rocker (2013), Psychic Warfare (2015) and Sunrise on Slaughter Beach (2022) balance straight-ahead punch with jam-born spontaneity and tighter songwriting. On stage in Belfast, they draw across that catalogue, stretching songs in the moment while keeping everything anchored to that unmistakable groove.
