Booba

Booba takes over the Jean Deschamps Theatre in Carcassonne on July 23, 2026. Since his time in Lunatic, he has imposed a deep voice, a sharp delivery and direct writing, evolving from dark rap to more melodic textures that draw on trap, drill and Afro influences. On stage, he alternates between classics and new material, from Temps mort and Ouest Side to Trône and Ultra, up to the tracks from Ad vitam æternam. The set is designed for the stone and echoes of the medieval city, where punchlines and choruses find their full impact.

As head of 92i and a longtime associate of several Francophone artists, he prioritizes efficiency: heavy productions, precise placement and a direct, forceful energy. He revisits his discography, from his beginnings to collaborations, moving between introspection, egotrip and songs built for the stage. In Carcassonne, the essentials are all there: a career stretching over two decades and a show tightened around what defines him—tension, melody and a strong sense of rhythm.
