The Ataris

On July 3, 2026, The Ataris return to the Legend Club in Milan. Formed in Indiana in 1996, The Ataris have gone through several lineup changes, with Kris Roe—guitarist, songwriter and frontman—remaining the sole constant. From their early DIY releases to Blue Skies, Broken Hearts... Next 12 Exits and End Is Forever, and on to 2003’s So Long, Astoria—the album that brought them recognition with In This Diary, The Saddest Song and their cover of Boys of Summer—the band helped define a melodic pop-punk built on fast riffs and nostalgic lyrics. In 2007, Welcome the Night introduced darker, more atmospheric tones without severing the connection to their roots.

Following the European tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of So Long, Astoria in 2023 and their appearance at Slam Dunk Italy in 2025, their return to Milan features a set that revisits key moments of their career, blending signature songs with more recent material. On stage, Roe’s voice and guitar remain at the helm, delivering a show that revives the energy and melodies of the pop-punk scene straddling the late ’90s and early ’00s.
