Info
Xandria brings its symphonic metal to Hydrozagadka in Warsaw on 13 October 2026. Formed in Bielefeld around guitarist and keyboardist Marco Heubaum, the band has spent decades shaping a sound that blends melodic guitars, widescreen orchestrations and female vocals at the forefront. After early releases that moved between dark rock and atmospheric metal, Xandria leaned fully into symphonic textures with albums like Ravenheart and Salomé, then tightened the focus again from Neverworld’s End onward. Multiple line-up changes have marked the journey, with Heubaum as the constant engine of the project.
Back on the road with a renewed line-up, Xandria now features singer Ambre Vourvahis, whose timbre brings a less operatic, more direct edge to the band’s palette. Their 2023 album The Wonders Still Awaiting sharpened that balance: sweeping strings and choral layers meeting punchy riffs, dynamic drums and clear, emotive vocals. On stage, expect a set that connects the newer material with fan favourites from the 2000s, shifting from atmospheric passages to heavier hooks without losing the cinematic breadth that defines them. Seasoned by tours alongside Epica, Kamelot or Delain, Xandria delivers a show where intensity serves the song, with drama in the arrangements rather than excess in the gesture.
