La Chica’s origins are like rivers that refuse to follow a single course. Her roots, deep and dense, plunge into the wild lands of Venezuela, where the mountains speak to the clouds and the warm earth sings beneath your feet. Yet her branches also reach toward Belleville, that Paris neighborhood where languages intertwine and the pain of exile dances to the rhythm of rising dreams. It is between these worlds, in that space where past and future confront one another, that Sophie Fustec—known as La Chica—found her voice. When La Chica sings, it is not a mere performance. It is a ritual. Her voice, both powerful and tender, fills the air with stories that long to be told. She reminds her audience, each of us, that to live is to carry within us all that has been and all that might be, and to dance nonetheless. La Chica is a woman who has learned to embrace her origins without being confined by them. She is an artist who understands that true art springs from the shadows and lights we each carry. Through her melodies and words, she invites us, again and again, to make that journey with her.

The Franco‑Cameroonian group Okali unveils its Afro trip‑hop sound on stage. An intoxicating, free performance shaped by multiple influences. The Franco‑Cameroonian duo deploys borderless music where African sonorities, trip hop, rock and dub meet. Refusing classification, Okali favors an instinctive, symbolist approach to musical creation. For this reason, the band also devotes great care to its artistic direction, pairing its music with a carefully crafted visual universe. Okali has released two singles: “Traveler” and “Gathering.”
