On 11 July 2026 Mobilee takes over the Else in Berlin: featuring a live set from Rodriguez Jr. and a set by Tim Engelhardt. The evening brings together melodic electronics between house and techno, characterised by distinctive hooks, detailed sound design and a direct rhythmic drive.
Rodriguez Jr., real name Olivier Mateu, has made the transition from The Youngsters (F Communications) to a distinctive personal style in which deep house, techno and electropop colours merge. Closely associated with the Mobilee label, he has released numerous tracks and demonstrated his feel for broader narrative arcs with the album Bittersweet. Live he constructs his pieces in real time: smooth basslines, melodic synth motifs and clear harmonic tensions that allow for club energy while leaving room for atmosphere.
Tim Engelhardt represents a modern interpretation of melodic and progressive house with a techno-leaning edge. Largely self-taught, he works with airy textures, pronounced progressions and sparingly used vocals. Releases such as So Good, Mind Over Matter, Falling and his rework of Lydia sketch out his approach between tension, melody and clear dancefloor readability. As part of the Scenarios collective he moves seamlessly between studio and club — here continuing his precise, organic dramaturgy.
