Defected returns to the island with an evening dedicated to house music at Chinois Ibiza on 11 June 2026. A bill conceived for dancing, centered on groove and that club energy that connects straight to the dancefloor.
Armand Van Helden delivers a set built around classic house grooves and a club-focused approach that blends vocal chops, disco pulses and punchy basslines. A journey through his sonic universe, between house and garage house, crafted to maintain the flow without lowering the intensity.
Melé brings a percussive register: taut rhythms, Afro‑Latin nods and a rhythmic construction born from the intersection of house, UK funky and bass music. A sharp DJ set, with dry transitions and a tribal cadence, designed to move the floor without unnecessary embellishment.
Darius Syrossian arrives with selections rooted in the underground and a direct groove. His mixing—focused on rhythmic drive and basslines—fits a set that progresses decisively, from recent classics to rawer cuts.
RUZE, the Birmingham duo, deploy their modern take on house: enveloping basslines, dry percussion and measured use of the voice. A clean, functional sound situated between minimal house and light tech house, with an emphasis on structural efficiency.
