From July 10 to 12, 2026, the Stone Techno Festival will bring over 100 acts to Zeche Zollverein in Essen. Between massive floors and a new listening floor, a spectrum of contemporary electronic music opens up: precise techno designs, ambient-leaning spaces and club-ready arcs of tension, conceived for long journeys between mind and body. The Curation Series 2026 is curated by Alarico, D.Dan, GiGi FM, Freddy K, Oscar Mulero and Verraco; additional hosts include Clone Records, Delirium, Gitter, FOLD and Serial Sound.
The line-up spans a wide range: Kangding Ray moves between techno, ambient and meticulous experimental work; Leon Vynehall links house heritage with narrative forms; Rødhåd relies on dub-soaked depth, Efdemin on hypnotic reduction. Skee Mask shifts breakbeats and textures, Roman Flügel moves elegantly between house, techno and electro. Vril brings dense live sets, Colin Benders his modular improvisation, while Function, Neel, Amotik and Rene Wise sustain a direct, driving momentum. Magda sharpens the minimalist edge, Lady Starlight delivers raw energy, Call Super and upsammy outline intricate transitions. Oscar Mulero, Freddy K and Heiko Laux represent a long-standing club signature. Three days, many perspectives — a weekend that makes the present state of techno and electronic music audible from multiple angles.
