Fear Factory

Fear Factory lands at The Academy, Dublin on 5 October 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in 1989, the band carved a hybrid sound where death/grind roots meet industrial metal, groove and electronics. Early on, Burton C. Bell and Dino Cazares set the template: clean vocals alternating with abrasive growls, staccato, down‑picked guitars and a rhythm section engineered like a machine, all wrapped in dystopian, sci‑fi imagery.

From Soul of a New Machine (1992) through Demanufacture (1995), Obsolete (1998) and Digimortal (2001), Fear Factory sharpened a precise, urban approach that kept evolving with Mechanize (2010), The Industrialist (2012), Genexus (2015) and Aggression Continuum (2021). Collaborations with Rhys Fulber reinforced the synthetic and atmospheric side without loosening the grip of the riffs. On stage in Dublin, the set brings that clash of human voice and mechanised pulse: jagged guitars locking to percussive grids, clean hooks cutting through distortion, and electronic undercurrents threading the whole.
