Maroon 5 plays Malahide Castle in Malahide, Ireland on 30 June 2026. Formed in Los Angeles by school friends Adam Levine, Mickey Madden, Ryan Dusick and Jesse Carmichael, the band first surfaced as Kara’s Flowers in the mid-90s before reshaping in 2001 with guitarist James Valentine and the name that stuck. Songs About Jane in 2002 set the template: pop-rock with R&B shades, crisp guitars and Levine’s falsetto out front. After years on the road, Dusick stepped aside in 2006, with Matt Flynn taking over on drums for the albums It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, Hands All Over and Overexposed.

On stage, the group leans on tight vocal harmonies, precise grooves and a catalogue built for sing-along choruses. The set draws from early breakouts through 2010s favorites, arranged with the clean live sound they’ve honed across arenas and festivals. In the open air at Malahide, expect a streamlined show that moves fast, balances ballads and uptempo tracks, and lets the hooks do the work. A chance to hear the band’s California blend up close, with the lineup distilling two decades of writing into a concentrated live run.
