Lifehouse: Best of Acoustic

Lifehouse brings a Best of Acoustic set to Whelan’s, Dublin, on 15 July 2026. Formed in Los Angeles in the mid-90s around singer and songwriter Jason Wade, the band has always moved between alternative rock, post-grunge and pop rock, with melodic guitars and direct, chorus-led writing. They broke through with No Name Face (2000) and the single Hanging by a Moment, then followed with Stanley Climbfall, Lifehouse, Who We Are, Smoke & Mirrors, Almería and Out of the Wasteland, gradually opening their sound without losing the band’s guitar core.

This acoustic show brings stripped-back versions that put the songs and Wade’s voice up front, from early singles and ballads to later cuts. The current lineup — Wade with longtime drummer Rick Woolstenhulme Jr., bassist Bryce Soderberg and guitarist Steve Stout — leans into harmonies and dynamics when unplugged, letting melodies and lyrics do the work. A focused tour of more than two decades of songwriting, revisited in an intimate frame at Whelan’s.
