On 20 November 2026 at Whelan’s, Dublin, 1000mods bring a heavy rock set that blends stoner drive, psych textures and desert rock grit. Formed in 2006 in Chiliomodi, near Corinth, the Greek quartet play dense and direct: thick, cyclical riffs, tempos that shift from steady push to controlled weight, and a melodic vocal with a rough grain. Their roots lean on 70s hard rock, channelled through a raw underground energy.

The band forged its path on Europe’s club and festival circuits alongside heavy psych and a lean, unfussy doom. On stage, they focus on collective impact more than solo display: grooves that repeat and tighten, gradual climbs, choruses kept concise, and a rhythm section that holds tension without clutter.

Across Super Van Vacation (2011), Vultures (2014) and Youth of Dissent (2020), their writing has tightened while keeping the hypnotic pull. Live, these tracks stretch and lock in, letting riffs breathe while keeping pressure on.
