Info
Kamelot brings its melodic power metal and symphonic edge to Progresja in Warsaw on 11 November 2026. Formed in Tampa in the early 1990s by guitarist Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner, the band forged a sound that blends driving riffs, orchestral layers and a taste for narrative concepts. After their first steps with Eternity and Dominion, Kamelot shifted toward darker atmospheres and more intricate writing, notably with the Roy Khan era and the diptych Epica and The Black Halo inspired by Goethe’s Faust. Ghost Opera and Poetry for the Poisoned extended that theatrical vein with a focus on mood and dynamics.
Since 2012, Swedish vocalist Tommy Karevik has carried the mic, steering Kamelot through Silverthorn, Haven, The Shadow Theory and The Awakening (2023). On stage, the group balances precision and drama: tight guitar work, symphonic textures, punchy choruses and a visual approach that echoes the band’s introspective themes. Expect a set that navigates their various periods, from early melodic flights to the more modern contours of recent albums, with the polished, story-driven touch that defines Kamelot at Progresja, Warsaw, Poland.
