This Will Destroy You

Formed in the mid-2000s in San Marcos, Texas, This Will Destroy You has shaped a stark, wordless post-rock where saturated guitars, ambient drift and near-drone layers move in slow tension and release. Built around guitarists Jeremy Galindo and Christopher Royal King, the band marked out its terrain with the self-released Young Mountain EP, the 2008 self-titled album’s long crescendos and sharp dynamics, the darker stretches of Tunnel Blanket, the more melodic and stratified Another Language, then the twin reflections of New Others Part One and Part Two. On August 9, 2026 at Klub 2progi in Poznań, they bring that play of contrasts to the stage: extended climbs, suspended quiet, and dense peaks that land without a voice, leaning into a feel that brushes against the cinematic. Their tracks have slipped into films, series and trailers, less as a calling card than as proof of how their sound carries images. Live, the textures breathe and distort in real time, guitars spilling into reverb and feedback, drums pacing the arcs, electronics filling the gaps. Little talk, just sound building, breaking, then hanging in the air.
