On 21 October 2026 at Göta Lejon, Stockholm, Rosanne Cash appears in duo with longtime collaborator John Leventhal. A songwriter shaped by Memphis roots and California horizons, Cash has steered her music from contemporary country toward folk and Americana, from the early pulse of Right or Wrong and Seven Year Ache to the stripped-back focus of Interiors, Black Cadillac and The River & The Thread. Her writing circles memory, family and the American South, carried by a clear voice and uncluttered melodies.
At her side, John Leventhal brings the craft of a New York producer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. Known for work with Shawn Colvin, Marc Cohn, Joan Osborne and William Bell, he has co-written and produced many of Cash’s records, shaping acoustic textures, subtle grooves and space for the stories to breathe. On stage, the duo leans on interplay and detail: songs drawn from across Cash’s catalog, shared compositions, and arrangements that leave room for guitar dialogue and close harmonies.
