Info
Kneecap bring their bilingual bite to B-K, Stockholm, on 9 November 2026. Born between Belfast and West Belfast, the trio of Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and producer DJ Próvaí splice Irish and English across lean, heavy beats. Their tracks balance dark humour and sharp social observation, shaped by the legacies of the North and a taste for satire and provocation. Bars switch languages without warning, turning local slang, politics and everyday mess into quick jabs and tight refrains.
On stage, Kneecap push that tension into movement: brisk tempos, bass pressure and chant-ready lines built for the crowd. Themes hit close to home — booze, precarity, border talk, small-time hustle — treated with self-mockery as much as bite. After early viral tracks, word-of-mouth tours and a first full-length paired with an autobiographical film, the group arrive with material that keeps the focus on place, identity and who gets to speak it. Gaelic gangster rap as lived experience, flipped into a live set that speaks to now, in two tongues.
