Marianas Trench

Marianas Trench brings its harmony-driven pop rock to History Ottawa in Ottawa on October 24, 2026. Formed in Vancouver around singer and songwriter Josh Ramsay with Matt Webb (guitar), Mike Ayley (bass) and Ian Casselman (drums), the band shifted from early pop-punk roots toward layered vocals and a taste for narrative songwriting. Fix Me set the tone, Masterpiece Theatre pushed the arrangements further, Ever After linked tracks into a continuous story, Astoria leaned into 80s textures, and Phantoms explored a darker pop palette.

On stage, the quartet pares back the studio polish without losing the stacked harmonies, sliding from riff-led tracks to piano ballads and brief theatrical turns in a single set. The pacing moves between concise singles and sequences that nod to their concept albums, with clear dynamics and sharp transitions.
