The Lemon Twigs

The Lemon Twigs, the project of brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario from Long Island, blend rock with orchestral pop sensibility, power-pop energy and clear nods to the ’60s and ’70s. Raised in a musical family and performing early on—both on stage and in front of cameras—they hone tight vocal harmonies, sudden tempo changes and a dense melodic approach. After the debut Do Hollywood (2016) on 4AD and the EP detour Brothers of Destruction (2017), they adopted a narrative approach with Go to School (2018) before Songs for the General Public (2020) became more direct. Since Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024) on Captured Tracks, a melancholic pop-rock coloration with elaborate vocal arrangements has come to the fore.

On 26 September 2026 at the Luxor in Cologne, The Lemon Twigs will bring this mixture to the stage—with an expanded band and shifting roles on guitar, bass, drums and keys. The set moves between ballads and punchy power pop, spans from Do Hollywood to A Dream Is All We Know, and foregrounds the tight two-part harmonies and intricate arrangements. Precise breaks, abrupt shifts in mood and melodic hooks structure the show.
