Tenth album and a turning point: with Going Back Home, 7 Weeks reveals itself through an international sonic production, delivering a clear and direct record. Produced and engineered by Adrian Bushby (two Grammy Awards for his work with Foo Fighters and Muse), this release, recorded between London and Birmingham, marks a return to the roots of their distinctive heavy rock. The band, already boasting an inventive and varied discography, now gives pride of place to raw power, stripped of all artifice, where the strength of the songwriting alone prevails, in the tradition of Anglo-Saxon power trios.
Based in Limoges, 7 Weeks has released all its output on its own self-funded label.
