Acid Arab

Acid Arab will play the Zénith de Paris on January 30, 2027 for a live show where acid techno blends with the rhythms of North Africa and the Middle East. Originating in Paris, the duo formed by Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho has forged a hybrid language that puts drum machines, synthetic textures and traditional melodies into dialogue. Onstage, club grooves interact with modal lines, percussion drives the tempo, and voices appear as motifs that thread through the machines. Their approach favors precise assembly over showmanship, with arrangements that build in layers and sustain tension without letting up. Accustomed to collaborations with singers and instrumentalists from diverse backgrounds, they cultivate a live format that lets timbres breathe as much as the pulse. Between acidic pads, nervous breaks and Middle Eastern motifs, Acid Arab draws a clear bridge between popular/folk roots and the contemporary dancefloor, creating a collective experience that emphasizes movement and detail.
