Info
On 14 May 2026 at Le Rocher de Palmer in Cenon, Visions of Atlantis took the helm of very melodic symphonic metal. Formed in Austria, the band features dual vocals with Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli, driving soundscapes where power and orchestration answer each other. Between recent tracks inspired by the pirate streak of the Pirates era and standout songs from The Deep & the Dark or Wanderers, the set alternated tension-building climaxes, more intimate respites, and choruses made to be sung back. The maritime atmospheres that are the band’s hallmark were present throughout, served by precise songwriting and a sense of narrative crafted for the stage.
Edge of Paradise, founded in Los Angeles by singer Margarita Monet and guitarist Dave Bates, unfolds a modern metal marked by massive guitars, synthetic keyboards, and industrial textures that create a cinematic backdrop. The band balances rhythmic impact and melody, with vocals pushed to the fore and themes that lean toward science fiction. From tracks on Hologram to those on Prophecy, the group offers a dense, direct sonic journey built for live performance.
