Aespa - SYNK : COMPLæXITY

On January 31, 2027, aespa lands at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi with SYNK : COMPLæXITY, a stop that condenses their avatar- and metaverse-infused imagery into a k-pop live show with an electronic edge. Formed in Seoul by SM Entertainment, the quartet — Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning — blends dance-pop, hip-hop and electronic pop with sudden shifts in rhythm, incisive choruses and meticulously crafted vocals, along with rap passages that propel the show’s momentum. On stage, that DNA translates into sharp contrasts between tension and melodic release.

The concert moves between their beginnings and their present: from “Black Mamba,” “Next Level” and the EP Savage to the era inaugurated by “Armageddon” and its preview “Supernova,” followed by the EP Whiplash and the single album Dirty Work, with sights set on Lemonade. Here aespa fine-tunes a more direct approach without relinquishing their electronic textures, playing with clear hooks, layered vocals and tempo changes that sustain the set’s pulse from start to finish.
