Open Bass #53 with Formula
Almost three years after his appearance at Bass Garden’s special High Tea, we’re welcoming Formula back to Lyon. An established artist on the drum & bass scene, Formula has recently launched his dubstep project with deep, UK-flavored sounds. This set promises to be full of fresh IDs.
The eve of May 1 also means a birthday — Atemi’s — who will turn up with a crew for a set that’s as much bass house as heavy dubstep.
On the drum side, we’ve put together a hybrid programme in both styles and techniques. We’re inviting Hadra Bass Crew, who will deliver a set combining vinyl, scratching and turntables over a jungle/dancefloor selection. And finally, Husa Is Dead will bring neurofunk back to the péniche.
