Mau P « Baddest Behaviour »

On 2 September 2026 at Pacha Ibiza, Mau P takes the reins with Baddest Behaviour. Behind this alias is Amsterdam native Maurits Westveen, who passed through EDM under the name Maurice West and, since 2022, has refocused his energy on club-oriented house and tech house. His breakthrough, "Drugs From Amsterdam," sets the frame: repetitive basslines, chopped vocals and direct structures designed for large sound systems. He followed with "Gimme That Bounce," opened a more melodic, techno-tinged avenue with "Metro" alongside Kevin de Vries on Afterlife, and then lined up "Tesla," "Like I Like It" and a rework of "The Less I Know The Better" that spread well beyond Dutch clubs.

On stage, Mau P assembles these tracks and his homemade edits into a taut flow: tight grooves, an elastic low end, crisp build-ups and more atmospheric passages when a breather is needed, without letting the tension drop. Baddest Behaviour functions as his open-air laboratory, where he fine-tunes transitions, tests new versions and pushes his signature toward the essential: functional house, minimal in spirit and effective on the dancefloor. A performance that captures the momentum of a new European wave in which his tracks circulate as much in DJs’ sets as on platforms, with a sense of detail calibrated for the night.
