Club XXX featuring The Hacker, Venus in Foil and City Dance Corporation

Club XXX returns to Standard Time in Toronto on May 1, 2026 with a three-artist lineup built for late-night heads. At the center, The Hacker, the French electro and techno producer Michel Amato, known for his long-running partnership with Miss Kittin and a sound that threads coldwave influences through machine-funk grooves. From Grenoble to global club booths, he has shaped a precise, hard-edged aesthetic, co-founding the Goodlife label and signing releases that mark the electroclash era as much as his solo album Rêves Mécaniques. His joint album with Miss Kittin, Two, pushed that dialogue further; on stage, his sets lean on tight sequencing, serrated synths and a patient build.

Sharing the bill, Venus in Foil brings a distinct take on club electronics, mixing tension and release with a taste for stark textures and bass pressure. City Dance Corporation rounds out the night with rhythm-forward selections and a focus on movement, connecting rough percussion to streamlined melodies.
