Doxa Session #1 Al-Walid, Oumay, Chanje

Doxa Session #1 is coming to FGO Barbara! On June 10, three artists are invited to perform their tracks in a different way, accompanied by a live band. Their songs have been rearranged and rethought specifically for the evening. For the inaugural edition, Oumay, Chanje and Al-Walid are taking part! Three universes, one shared desire to experience rap differently.

Al-Walid
Al-Walid raps Geneva as he lives it: without imitation, without detours, without a manual. Born in Switzerland to Moroccan and Algerian parents, he turns this crossing of heritages into a distinctive voice. In the wake of a Swiss scene known for its boldness and freedom, he doesn’t aim to reproduce the codes: he moves them, subverts them and asserts a unique artistic stance. Rapping exclusively over his own productions, he builds a coherent world, controlled from end to end, where form and content advance in the same gesture. An heir to a daring Swiss scene, Al-Walid extends that momentum in his own way, both in the studio and on stage.

Oumay
Oumay is a Franco-Moroccan artist working primarily in urban pop, with R&B influences. She crafts a modern musical universe driven by captivating melodies and nuanced atmospheres. Her lyrics are marked by their sincerity, raw emotion and a certain melancholy. Through her singles, she is building a personal and authentic artistic identity. Oumay is gradually establishing herself as a promising voice of the new Francophone scene.

Chanje
A fully rounded singer-songwriter, Chanje has established himself as one of the distinctive voices of the emerging scene, with raw, introspective and organic rap carried by sensitive songwriting and committed performances. In 2026 he opens a new chapter with a series of modern singles that lean more toward pop sonorities, a redesigned visual art direction and a clear ambition to reach a broader audience. From the shadows… to the light, his gift for hooks and vocal ease reveal a more colorful and wholly sincere facet of his world. At 27, the artist from the Paris region (originally from Yvelines) continues to reinvent himself and builds a bridge between rap, pop, driving rhythms and true performance.
