Ryan Adams - Solo Europe 2026

Ryan Adams returns to Europe as a solo artist and will stop in Berlin on 23 October 2026 at the Uber Eats Music Hall. The US songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer first helped shape alt-country in the mid-1990s with Whiskeytown before launching his solo career with Heartbreaker (2000) and Gold (2001). Between acoustic sketches, direct guitar rock and Americana, he developed a signature style in which a rough voice meets clear melodies. With The Cardinals he broadened that sound – Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights (both 2005) as well as Cardinology (2008) mark this phase – followed by Ashes & Fire (2011), Ryan Adams (2014), 1989 (2015), Prisoner (2017) and Wednesdays (2020).

In Berlin Adams will be alone on stage: songs pared down to voice, guitar or piano, close to the core of his work. The set may combine tracks from different periods, from early solo songs and Cardinals material to more recent releases, with echoes of folk, country and rock. The solo format highlights the songwriting, timbre and dynamics of his songs.
