Camille

Camille returns to the stage on March 18, 2027, at La Nouvelle Vague in Saint-Malo with The Sound of Milk, released in 2026 — her first album since Ouï (2017). In a turbulent world, she chooses to place at the center a joy that is at once powerful and vulnerable: the feminine, motherhood, childhood, family in its broadest sense, and the transmission of experience through music. Matured over more than fifteen years, this project weaves together the permeability between her life as an artist and her life as a mother, and subtly traces the history of musical forms.

On stage, Camille extends the work begun with Le Fil (2005) around the voice as architecture and the drone that underpins the melodies. Polyrhythms, linguistic play, body percussion and spare arrangements serve songs conceived from both a child’s and an adult’s perspective, attentive to the ties that shape us. Between lullabies and songs of transmission, she creates a listening space where sensitivity leads the dance, and where each piece slots into place like a chapter of the same story. An intimate and collective journey, carried by an artist who makes the voice her playground and her field of inquiry.
