Info

Romeo & Juliette has brought together more than 11 million spectators worldwide. Translated into 18 languages and performed in 20 countries, the production is part of the repertoire of French musical theatre. Launched in 2001 at the Palais des Congrès, where it drew nearly 2.5 million spectators, the production has established itself permanently.

Damien Sargue and Cécilia Cara have embodied the roles since the beginning. The original duo can still be seen on stage together.

With over 9 million records sold and hits such as "Les Rois du monde" and "Aimer," Romeo & Juliette is part of musical theatre history. For nearly 25 years, the show has travelled across cultures and adapted to the changes of its era: new technologies, new stage conventions and new audience expectations. It retains what defines it: signature songs, a large-scale aesthetic and a strong sense of spectacle.

Shakespeare’s work raises a question that remains topical: how far are we willing to go for love?

Romeo & Juliette returns on April 22, 2028 at 6:30 p.m. to the Zénith Toulouse Métropole in a reimagined version that integrates new generational codes while preserving the core. This comeback comes with a new cast, new costumes and a new stage design, redesigned for today without altering the show’s DNA.
