Médine « Enfants du destin »

On March 10, 2027 at Interference, Balma, Médine returns to the stage with Enfants du destin, the series that has run through his work since 2004. There he presents stories of childhoods shattered by the shocks of History — colonization, war, slavery, oppression — through figures who carry a name and a memory. David, Souhan, Kunta Kinte, Nour and Yasser become faces that speak for the collective, setting the violences of yesterday in dialogue with those of today.

In an acoustic, intimate setup, the rapper unfolds these stories in a stripped-down, spoken‑word style. Guillaume Zolnierowsky’s piano and guitar provide the frame; Shéhérazade’s voice and cello broaden the soundscape. Between the pieces, Karinale Lo van Zaouiche intervenes in brief touches, introducing breaths and counterpoints and opening the conversation. Words circulate, question, hesitate. The piece moves between concert and theatre, aiming to restore flesh to individual trajectories and to reposition History in the present.
