TWRP brings its retro‑future groove to Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on August 22, 2026. Formed in Halifax and now based in Toronto, the masked quartet has built a world where funk rock, disco pulse and synthwave textures collide with comic‑book sci‑fi. On stage, Doctor Sung, Lord Phobos, Commander Meouch and Have Mercy stack vocoder hooks, melodic basslines and sharp guitar into tight, dance‑ready arrangements shaped by years of touring and online sessions.

From early cuts like Believe in Your Dreams and Guardians of the Zone to more recent releases New & Improved and Digital Nightmare, the band has shifted from a heavily electronic palette to a groove‑first approach without losing its playful narrative streak. Regular collaborations with Ninja Sex Party and Starbomb feed a pop‑culture aware show that blurs concert, costumes and storytelling.
