Info
On June 27, 2026 at Rebel in Toronto, Mark Knight and Victor Calderone share the decks for a night anchored in house music with a clear club focus. Two signatures, two histories, one dancefloor: the London groove-maker meets the Brooklyn architect of tension.
Mark Knight, founder of Toolroom Records in 2003, has built a sound rooted in firm grooves, weighty basslines and a balance between house, tech house and disco touches. His productions and remixes have long circulated across clubs worldwide, with milestones like Man with the Red Face (with Funkagenda, 2008) and Downpipe (with D. Ramirez and Underworld, 2009). In the booth, he crafts clean structures, progressive builds and leaves room for vocal hooks, keeping his sets direct yet precisely drawn for the floor.
Victor Calderone comes from the New York club lineage of the 1990s, evolving from house toward a blend of tribal, progressive and techno with tight percussion. Known for long, physical sets that raise tension step by step, he also made a mark as a remixer in pop and dance, notably alongside Madonna in the early 2000s. Over time, his sound grew darker and denser without losing its house backbone: hefty rhythmic lines, fragmented vocals and slow-burn arcs tied to NYC nightlife culture. Together, expect a dialogue between Toolroom’s house drive and New York’s tribal pulse.
