On October 13, 2026 at L’Autre Canal, Nancy, Temples presents BLISS, the fifth album from a quartet that keeps opening new doors. Formed in Kettering, the band brings together James Bagshaw (vocals, guitar), Thomas Walmsley (bass), Adam Smith (keyboards, guitar) and Rens Ottink (drums). After Sun Structures, Volcano, Hot Motion and Exotico, Temples shift their center of gravity toward electronic terrain: pulses and textures inherited from late‑1990s dance music intertwine with their spiraling riffs, psychedelic‑tinged loops and vocal harmonies that define their signature.

On stage, the material from BLISS melds with their sense of melody and attention to detail, moving between euphoric surges and more melancholic lines. Rebounding synths, layered guitars, supple bass and precise drumming anchor a clear groove, without erasing the psych‑pop DNA that made Temples known. The set is conceived to traverse the band’s different moods, where the electronic drive, the warmth of the keyboards and the subtlety of the arrangements naturally interplay.
