Piche

At 29, Piche is a singular figure on the French music scene. Behind that name, Mike, his given name, claims a hybrid identity that defies labels: “a singer who does drag, not a drag who sings.” A nuance that sums up his artistic ambition as much as his free relationship to genres. He composes his music with his brother, together drawing on their heritages and differences to create an inclusive, incisive sound. Originally from the south of France and of Algerian and Romani descent, Piche has forged a path at the crossroads of disciplines. Dancer, choreographer, performer, singer and rapper, he approaches each medium as a piece of the same puzzle, seeking to give his art a total dimension. His approach, instinctive and confrontational, leads him to unsettle conventions, both on stage and in public space.

Revealed to the wider public by his appearances on Drag Race France, Piche released his first single, Confess, in 2023.
