P’tit Moh and his crew invite Mehdi Ferhat.
Babour Sauvage spotlights musicians and singers through a musical event 100% chaâbi. For this new edition at Babour Sauvage, P’tit Moh and his crew invite singer and musician Mehdi Ferhat to join the ensemble.
Born in Algiers, Mehdi Ferhat discovered the guitar at the age of 10. Trained in classical music and then in chaâbi with recognized masters, he developed an exacting approach to music from an early age. A finalist on the program Alhan wa Chabab, he then turned to composition and arrangements. He has accompanied numerous Algerian artists on stage as a guitarist or mandole soloist, performing a repertoire that ranges from chaâbi to contemporary music rooted in the Mediterranean heritage.

- DJ KIM
- Kenzi Bourras
Binatna, “between us,” is first and foremost an invitation — the continuation of the series of electro-raï nights at Babour Sauvage.
The fourth evening conceived for sharing, dancing and trance. Chaâbi, sung layers, deep basses, synths sometimes psychedelic, sometimes haunting: music that brings people together and carries the audience in dance until the early hours of the morning.
Kenzi Bourras, composer and arranger, born in Sétif (Algeria) and based in Paris since the 2000s, is one of the architects of this dialogue. Alongside him is DJ KIM, the voice of Beur FM. For thirty years he has linked radio, the dancefloor and the street. A presenter and pioneer, he has accompanied the history of raï in France through shows that mix languages, cultures and generations.
