Led by Campbell Burns, they’ve evolved from a DIY sparkle to a more sculpted sound without losing that detached, bittersweet tone. Expect a set that drifts from early Vibes-era cuts to the sharpened writing of Changes (2018), Forever In Bloom (2020) and No Place Like Home (2023): short songs, hazy edges and choruses that stick, played with a calm energy that keeps the tension just under the surface.
Also on the bill, Thelma Plum brings a singer-songwriter focus that crosses indie pop, folk and alt pop. A Gamilaraay artist rooted between Brisbane and Delungra, she writes with clarity about identity, family and love, pairing bright melodies with plain-spoken lines. From Better in Blak (2019) to I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back (2024), her live set shifts from hushed storytelling to punchier pop moments, always centred on voice and narrative.
